Resident Physician for the Orthopedics Department (M/F/X), full-time, with a particular interest in the management of hand and upper limb pathologies.
The Department
The Orthopedics-Traumatology Department aims to provide the best possible treatment for patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system: bone or osteo-ligament trauma, polytrauma, degenerative or inflammatory joint disease, bone or soft tissue tumors, infections, spinal, hand and peripheral nerve pathologies, foot conditions, or pediatric orthopedic disorders.
The Department is equipped with a highly effective bone and tissue bank. It also contributes, through original research, to improving fundamental and clinical knowledge of growth and aging processes of the musculoskeletal system, while developing surgical techniques for the treatment of osteoarticular conditions.
Finally, the Department provides teaching in the specialty to medical master’s students and postgraduate trainees.
The ideal candidate is an orthopedic surgeon who values teamwork and is committed to supervising physicians in training. The role involves both hospital-based clinical activity and non-clinical activities in teaching and/or research. The residency position is the first step in a potential long-term career at H.U.B. The candidate must demonstrate a strong interest in, and experience with, hand and upper limb pathologies.
